Art program to raise funds for disaster-hit victims

A charitable art program entitled “The Central region in my heart” will take place on the evening of November 12 at Au Co Art Center in Hanoi to raise money for people in natural disasters-devastated central localities.

According to People’s Artist Pham Anh Phuong, President of the Vietnam Dancing Artists’ Association, this is the first program to be conducted by the new executive committee of the association in the 2020-2025 period.

The program coveys the sentiments of participating artists towards the Central region.

Phuong added that the program conveys the sentiments of participating artists towards the Central region, and the proceeds will hopefully ease the locals’ sufferings and support them in overcoming their difficulties to resume their normal lives soon.

Various artists from the Vietnam Dancing Artists’ Association, the Military Music and Dance Theater, the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theater will perform typical music and dance works during this meaningful event.

People’s Artist Pham Anh Phuong said that the program will open for free. All the money donated by participating artists and benefactors during the program will be sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to assist disaster-hit people in the Central region.
