Film week in celebration of major national anniversaries to be held

A film week will be held for free from April 30 to May 22, at cinemas nationwide in celebration of the anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification Day (April 30), the International Workers’ Day (May 1), the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7), and the birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19).

The film week to be organized by the Department of Cinema under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will screen the following movies “Cho em den ngay mai”, documentary films “Con duong khong phang” and “Thong nhat dat nuoc”, and cartoon “Truyen thuyet dao xa”.

The film week is organized in localities where the COVID-19 pandemic is under control.

The cinemas must closely follow the pandemic prevention and control regulations issued by the Ministry of Health.
