Books about General Nguyen Chi Thanh released

The People's Army Publishing House held a press briefing on June 30 to release three books about “General Nguyen Chi Thanh” towards the 50th death anniversary of the general, a resilient communist soldier, an outstanding Party leader, and a military prowess.

The books, compiled by journalist Bui Chi Trung and a group of authors, are named “Nguyen Chi Thanh – Views from the posterity”, “Nguyen Chi Thanh – the peasant general” and “Letters between the North and the South”.

These books were to commemorate a great hero in the struggle for national salvation and to bring a comprehensive understanding about the life and career of the late general to readers, especially youths.
