As many as 40 works by the four war reporters Doan Cong Tinh, Chu Chi Thanh, Hua Kiem, and Mai Nam were displayed at an exhibition themed “War Reporters” on April 14th in Hanoi.

At the exhibition, photographer Doan Cong Tinh, a former reporter of the Army's People Newspaper (PAN), said that he drew his inspiration from the soldiers' optimistic spirit after each battle during the war and their happiness when receiving letters from their relatives. It was a great source of inspiration to him.
Reporter Chu Chi Thanh, a former reporter of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), said that he always wanted to record these unforgettable moments in his life even when facing dangerous situations.
Patrick Chauvel, a French cameraman, photographer and also a soldier, held that he is proud and happy to introduce art works telling stories about the Vietnam war 40 years ago.
The event will last till May 10th 2015.
