The seminar introducing a book “Renowned Generals of the Tran Dynasty in the three victories over the Yuan-Mongols” by author Phung Van Khai brought together researchers, writers, and artists to reflect on the historical and humanistic values of the Tran Dynasty.
Released in celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Tran Dynasty (1225-2025), the book vividly portrays the lives of legendary generals and conveys valuable lessons in governance, national identity, and the power of patriotism. These values closely align with the spirit of the project “Towards the Path of the Future”, which aims to spread knowledge and promote a culture of reading.
An overview of the seminar
Launched in 2019, the project spans various areas of social life, including policy recommendations, strategic consulting for state agencies, and developing models of sustainable corporate governance and cultural entrepreneurship.
As part of the seminar, the organizers also launched the “Towards the Path of the Future” contest, encouraging youth, students, and book lovers to explore Vietnamese history, share reflections on the book, and propose ideas to promote reading culture.
