A set of stamps, themed “Vietnamese painting: Hanoi Old Quarter”, has been released by the Ministry of Information and Communications, in collaboration with the Vietnam Post Corporation.
The stamp set's bloc featuring the portrait of painter Bui Xuan Phai and a corner of Hanoi Old Quarter.
The stamp collection’s issuance aims to celebrate the 100th birthday anniversary of the late painter Bui Xuan Phai (September 1, 1920-2020) who was famous for his paintings on the capital city of Hanoi.
The collection includes samples displaying Hang Mam Street and Phat Loc temple. In addition, a bloc features the portrait of painter Bui Xuan Phai and a corner of Hanoi's Old Quarter behind.

The stamp sample measures 50x40mm each and the bloc has a size of 90x67mm.
The stamp collection was designed by painters Pham Quang Dieu and To Minh Trang of the Vietnam Post Corporation.
The set is available in public postal network branches across the country until June 30, 2022.
