Meanwhile, two silver medals went to Do Tuan Hung and Tran Duy Tinh, both from Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Binh Duong provinces, respectively.
In addition, four bronze medals and six consolation prizes, as well as a team prize and “Lam Dong Photo Marathon’ prize, were also presented to other entrants.
Under the theme ‘Land and People of Southeast Region in integration and development’, the contest was launched by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA). Launching from March 19 to June 30, the contest received around 1,599 entries by 236 photographers from eight provinces including Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan.
The entries have reflected quite comprehensively the beauty of nature, the country and people of the Southeast Region in the process of innovation, integration and development.
The jury selected 180 works of 94 authors from the final to display for the public. The exhibition also opened in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province on July 26.
