The exhibition displays 70 old books from the book collection "My Hanoi" of collector Nguyen The Bach, and many reprinted and published books by the company.
Most of the exhibited books are familiar to readers, including valuable and old books about Hanoi like "Lich su Thu do Ha Noi" (Hanoi capital's history) by Tran Huy Lieu, "Pho phuong Ha Noi xua" (Old Hanoi Streets & Guilds) by Hoang Dao Thuy, etc, and many reprinted and published editions of popular books such as "Lich su Ha Noi" (Hanoi's history) by Philippe Papin, "Mieng ngon Ha Noi" (Hanoi's Tasty Dishes) by Vu Bang or "Ha Noi Bam Sau Pho Phuong" (Hanoi's 36 Streets & Guilds) by Thach Lam.
The exhibition aims to help researchers and Hanoi lovers have a chance to access the original editions of Hanoi's old books as well as the special editions of popular books about Hanoi. Visitors can discover Hanoi's cultural values themselves in a very special way when reading the old pages on display at the event.
The book exhibition will conclude on October 22nd 2015.
