(News) - As many as 50 paintings and sculptures featuring the image of beloved President Ho Chi Minh will be on display at an exhibition which will open at the Vietnam Fine Art Museum in Hanoi on August 30.
The event is part of the activities marking the 74th anniversary of National Day (September 2) and the 50-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.

The exhibits were created by 39 painters and sculptors in different materials before and after Uncle Ho’s testament wasannounced.
The art works highlighted the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh with a high forehead, bright eyes, silver beard, and a gentle smile.
Through the paintings and sculptures, visitors will have a chance to learn more about the beloved leader’s simple lifestyle, elegant and cultured behaviour and scientific working style.
Notably, President Ho Chi Minh’s care for people from all strata as well as the people’s sincere sentiments to him will also be expressed clearly.
On August 20, an exhibition entitled ‘Vietnamese youths remember Uncle Ho’s testament’ was held in the northern province of Ha Nam. The exhibition will last until August 27.
On display are over 300 photos, documents and objects highlighting the great values of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament as well as his care for the young generations.
