A programme entitled ‘Exploring Southeast Asia’ opened at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi on May 30 in celebration of International Children’s Day (June 1).
Children try their hand at making animals using leaves.
Children with disabilities can enjoy free entrance to the event.
Children in the programme can take part in various activities which are designed to help them make interesting discoveries about Southeast Asia such as the national flags, currencies, capitals, and costumes of countries in the region.
In addition, they can try their hand at making animals using leaves and making ‘to he’ (toy figurines).
There are also traditional folk games on offer from Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
The programme is taking place at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, 1 Nguyen Van Huyen Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi.
