An essay writing contest on protecting the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and refuting wrongful and hostile views was launched during a press conference in Hanoi on March 1.
The contest, the second of its kind, is organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, the Central Theoretical Council, the Communist Review, the Nhan dan (People) Newspaper, and the Vietnamese Journalists’ Association.
An overview of the event
The contest continues the success of the first event, which took place in 2021 by the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy.
According to the organizers, all Vietnamese and foreign people are eligible to join the contest. It is expected to receive entries with sharp pens to criticize wrongful and hostile views, forming a source of high-quality writings serving communications work, further popularizing the Party’s viewpoints and policies.
The entries must be original creations and have not been published in press and media so far. The organizers will accept entries until the end of July 30, 2022. The awarding ceremony is slated for October.
Further information about the contest is available at the portal of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy at http://hcma.vn.
