(News) - A fine art exhibition, featuring works created by outstanding artists in Asia, will be held at the Vincom Centre for Contemporary Art (VCCA) in Hanoi from November 5-25.
The exhibition will be held from November 5-25.
On display will be 81 art works by 27 painters from 13 countries and territories around the Asian region, including Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The eight Vietnamese artists are Dang Xuan Hoa, Tran Luu Hau, Le Quang Ha, Do Hoang Tuong, Ta Quang Bao, Le Lang Luong, Khong Do Tuyen and Tran Van An.
Their works were created with a range of different materials and styles, including installations, sculptures and paintings.
According to Head of the Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, Vi Kien Thanh, this is the first time Vietnam has invited various artists, painters and sculptors around Asia to meet, exchange and introduce their art works.
The exhibition is expected to contribute to enhancing the international cooperation in the field of fine arts between Vietnam and other countries in the region.
